Honestly, I think your point about the student presenting a consistent, cohesive picture of himself was important. For many kids and parents (as you obviously know) the tendency is to try to hit all of targets as hard as possible each on an individual basis, and that likely does not ring true on the other end.
Reached Vassar
You were right that she didn’t need to take an extra class in 12th grade.
You were right that after being devastated by her SAT score that the assessment test may indicate that she would do better on the ACT.
You were incredibly insightful to guide us towards small liberal arts colleges. I didn’t make the connection to the Montessori background but you did and I think she will be MUCH happier than going to a large research university.
When I looked at your Spring break choices, the idea of driving to Vassar was very unpleasant. But when we got there, we all knew that it was different than every place we had been. I was concerned that it would get her hopes up. But I knew it was a highly selective school and it might be a motivator to her.
I could continue but I realize you have other clients and for them, the journey is still going on. It was not easy to hand the wheel over to C and you and just observe. I observed as much as I could. I can raise my hand and say that I took your advice and I never looked at her essays until after they were submitted.
Making Opportunities Possible
I just wanted to check in and report that S is doing great and could not be happier than she is at Penn. I was with her in NYC this weekend on the back end of a business trip, so I had a good amount of time with her. (Funny how inviting her up for a play or two gets her attention.) She did great academically last semester, is making good friends and has joined the sorority this semester.
Without your counsel, neither S nor I suspect she’d be a Quaker. We’re grateful for you making the opportunity possible.

Update from Georgetown
Having a partner in crime through the process has exceeded my expectations, and I'm convinced that I couldn't have gotten into Georgetown without your help. The service you provide is a life-saver, especially for persons like myself who come from families that don't know a lot about the American admissions process. I can't thank you enough!
Character & Fitness Disclosures
Working with Ada has been extremely rewarding during the admissions process. Having to disclose previous legal matters to law schools caused some concern as to whether I would be accepted or not. If it weren’t for Ada, I am not sure I would be accepted to law school. Because of her help, I am planning on attending a top 100 law school with a significant scholarship. I am forever grateful for Ada’s guidance during this process.
Top Ten with Ada's Help
Together we crafted a targeted application approach that allowed me to focus my energy on applying to my top choice schools while also have a strong back-up plan I felt confident about. Overall, my law school application process was about as painless as I could have hoped for,and that is in large part due to Ada’s guidance. I am thrilled to be attending a top ten law school (and my top choice!) next year, and I can’tthank Ada and Ivey Consulting enough!
T25 with a 25th Percentile LSAT
During Stage I, Ada helped me to reach the realization that deferring law school by a year was the best option. She provided me with valuable insights and suggestions on how to shape my professional and extracurricular development, during the interim period, in ways that greatly enhanced my personal and professional growth.
Berkeley with a $75,000 scholarship
The past year of working with you seems to have flown by and I can't imagine having gone through the application cycle without your guidance. Something tells me it would have turned out very differently... I truly believe this is one of the best investments I've ever made in my future--one which you can't even put a price on.
Janeille asked questions that made me rethink the entire application
I had worked with an admissions consultant from a different company and thought my application was ready to go. I wanted Anna Ivey Consulting to give a final review and sprinkle their magic dust on the application so I could start pumping out the apps. The conversations I had with Janeille and the questions she asked made me re-think my entire application. She helped me discover exactly what makes me unique and the most effective way to convey that to law schools. Comparing my original pre-Janeille essay with the post-Janeille final product showed me just how insightful and thoughtful her help was. Thank you!!!!!!
Helped me find my voice
Janeille is phenomenal!
Janeille is phenomenal! I went into the law school application process worried that I wouldn’t receive an offer of admission from a top-twenty law school. Although I graduated summa cum laude from college, I struggled on the LSAT. Janeille never stopped having faith in my abilities and helped me prepare a strong application.
Praise for Ada from a rising HLS 1L
When I first started my applications I told Ada my exact goals for the application cycle and I can now say that I will be attending the law school of my dreams, Harvard Law School!! In all, working with Ada Sheng, and the entire Anna Ivey consulting group, has been the best investment I have ever made in applying and preparing for my legal education!
From a first-generation college grad
Greg, there really isn't a price I can put on the help you've provided me. Originally, I was expecting to pay sticker and hoping I would get the opportunity to be at a T-14. Now, I have three T-10 offers, one with a 60K scholarship. Thank you so much for helping me to present myself in the best way possible. This has worked out better than I could have ever imagined or hoped for.

Dreaming of UVA with (comparatively) low LSAT
Considering my comparatively low LSAT, I think that the complete package made all of the difference. I went to the UVA open house last weekend and I LOVED IT. I already put down my deposit and I can't wait for a new part of my life to begin. Considering my comparatively low LSAT, I think that the complete package made all of the difference. I couldn't have done it without you.

Greg Is A Powerhouse
Make no mistake, you have to do all of the legwork but the assistance you get is impeccable. I had the opportunity of working with Greg and there really is no price you can put on the advice and guidance you receive. With Greg I think I went through 11 different revisions for my personal statement, but every single time he made great comments and edits.
