My experience working with Janeille was outstanding. I was accepted into all four LLM programs I applied to, including Yale and Harvard! I did not regret ordering the comprehensive package, as Janeille’s help was invaluable every step of the way.
The Best Thing About Anna's Service Is the Peace of Mind
I spent 2 months banging my head against a brick wall trying to come up with a good personal statement before I got smart and contacted Anna. The crux of my dilemma was an uneasiness to talk about certain obstacles that have shaped who I am. Once I went through Anna's detailed brainstorm questionnaire, I realized that my PS didn't touch on anything meaningful. It was blah. Anna encouraged me to switch my topic and I reluctantly agreed (kicking and screaming the entire way). With her guidance, I spent one night writing a PS that was far superior to my 2-month tome! Later, Anna pretty much destroyed and rebuilt my resume, the one part of my application that I thought didn't need much work.
Happy News from Berkeley, NYU, Duke, UCLA, and Michigan
Not only did Janeille help me select life experiences that would best capture my unique perspective and personal development, she also encouraged me to communicate those experiences in an authentic and fresh voice.
Janeille’s guidance is invaluable, especially when one is applying to top law schools known for their holistic review processes.
Sliced through the twaddle
Anna Ivey is a gift from the gods. After being wait-listed and finally rejected from University of Virginia School of Law after I applied on my own, I signed up with her and re-applied the following year. Anna performed an extensive background evaluation to brainstorm about potential essay topics and came up with a gem, one that was right in front of me but that I had never considered.
Working with Anna Ivey was such a delight
Working two jobs and getting my family ready to move to another state for law school doesn't leave me much time for writing unsolicited reviews of products or services. However, working with Anna Ivey was such a delight that I am compelled to share a few thoughts. In my experience, I found only one discrepancy between Anna Ivey as advertised and Anna Ivey in reality: she delivered more than what she promised.
Thanks from a Parent
Helped With the Whole Process
I can't believe I haven't told you, I opted for BC :) Thanks for everything you really helped me so much with the whole process. It's my brother's turn soon. He is a completely different person in terms of the way he does work and of course personality, haha but I believe you'll do the same for him :).
Again thanks for everything!
Invaluable Counsel
Well W is finally off to school, and I wanted to thank you for your invaluable counsel as he worked through the college process. Having spent last weekend at Northwestern, I am so excited for W and have a great feeling about it as the right place for him. You did such a great job of showing him the world of possibilities, helping him to navigate the process, and helping him to fully think through his decision.
Insight and Guidance
Thanks for Everything
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I decided to commit to George Washington University! I think it will be a pretty awesome place to go to school. Also, thanks for helping me with everything!
I was wondering if I could have your mailing address (haha I know that sounds weird) so I could send you a graduation announcement. If not, I can always scan it to you!
Care and Attention
We are very proud of M - he’s worked hard in a number of areas to put himself in a great position. We can’t believe he’s going off to college so soon! We are equally excited about him getting into a challenging environment in the US and making the most of the experience.
We really want to thank you for all your care and attention to M over the past four years. We think you’ve had a tremendous impact on his focus, planning and goal setting which has materialized into great accomplishments. As a result, what should have been overwhelming and stressful - applying to colleges -- has been somewhat anticlimactic in a good way. Being proactive and having a plan has put M in this position.
Also, your advice to us on school choice has been invaluable. Pomona wouldn’t have been on the top of our list (or on our list) when this process started, but now we truly feel that Pomona will be a tremendous fit for M and we feel good about his decision.
We need to talk about our 7th grader next!

Presenting a Consistent, Cohesive Picture
Honestly, I think your point about the student presenting a consistent, cohesive picture of himself was important. For many kids and parents (as you obviously know) the tendency is to try to hit all of targets as hard as possible each on an individual basis, and that likely does not ring true on the other end.
Reached Vassar
You were right that she didn’t need to take an extra class in 12th grade.
You were right that after being devastated by her SAT score that the assessment test may indicate that she would do better on the ACT.
You were incredibly insightful to guide us towards small liberal arts colleges. I didn’t make the connection to the Montessori background but you did and I think she will be MUCH happier than going to a large research university.
When I looked at your Spring break choices, the idea of driving to Vassar was very unpleasant. But when we got there, we all knew that it was different than every place we had been. I was concerned that it would get her hopes up. But I knew it was a highly selective school and it might be a motivator to her.
I could continue but I realize you have other clients and for them, the journey is still going on. It was not easy to hand the wheel over to C and you and just observe. I observed as much as I could. I can raise my hand and say that I took your advice and I never looked at her essays until after they were submitted.
Making Opportunities Possible
I just wanted to check in and report that S is doing great and could not be happier than she is at Penn. I was with her in NYC this weekend on the back end of a business trip, so I had a good amount of time with her. (Funny how inviting her up for a play or two gets her attention.) She did great academically last semester, is making good friends and has joined the sorority this semester.
Without your counsel, neither S nor I suspect she’d be a Quaker. We’re grateful for you making the opportunity possible.

Update from Georgetown
Having a partner in crime through the process has exceeded my expectations, and I'm convinced that I couldn't have gotten into Georgetown without your help. The service you provide is a life-saver, especially for persons like myself who come from families that don't know a lot about the American admissions process. I can't thank you enough!
Character & Fitness Disclosures
Working with Ada has been extremely rewarding during the admissions process. Having to disclose previous legal matters to law schools caused some concern as to whether I would be accepted or not. If it weren’t for Ada, I am not sure I would be accepted to law school. Because of her help, I am planning on attending a top 100 law school with a significant scholarship. I am forever grateful for Ada’s guidance during this process.
Top Ten with Ada's Help
Together we crafted a targeted application approach that allowed me to focus my energy on applying to my top choice schools while also have a strong back-up plan I felt confident about. Overall, my law school application process was about as painless as I could have hoped for,and that is in large part due to Ada’s guidance. I am thrilled to be attending a top ten law school (and my top choice!) next year, and I can’tthank Ada and Ivey Consulting enough!
